Ubiquitous Site is a tagging project I did in Tucson, AZ in 2018. Because of the ubiquitous presence of brick and cinder block walls within urban settings they often go unnoticed. These tags are small and intimate, made by connecting lines within preexisting brickwork to as a means to engage with walkers traveling within these alleyway spaces. The project attempts to inspire visual interaction with something we confront everyday, as well as promote observational habits: walkers who encounter a tag may envision connections within the next sidewalk or brick wall they see.
